Blank Rome represented Gama Aviation, a global aviation company providing special mission, business aviation, and technology and outsourcing services, in the completion of a definitive purchase agreement to sell its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (“MRO”) business in the United States, Jet East, to West Star Aviation, the leading provider of MRO services to the business aviation industry. The proposed deal is valued at approximately $131 million.
The sale is contingent on Shareholder approval at an upcoming meeting that will take place on November 3, 2023. The deal is expected to close shortly thereafter.
