A Blank Rome team represented Ryder System, Inc., a leader in commercial fleet management, dedicated transportation, and supply chain solutions, in its $275M acquisition of all of the outstanding equity of Illinois-based Midwest Warehouse and Distribution System (“Midwest”), which operates nine multi-client and eight dedicated-customer warehouses in five regions, primarily in the greater Chicago area, as well as New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas. Midwest’s offering of warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions expands Ryder's CPG business. The transaction closed on November 1, 2021.
