Blank Rome partner Eric S. Tower will serve as a symposium session co-chair and speaker at the North American Spine Society’s (“NASS”) 39th Annual Meeting, being held September 25 through 28, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The program will present the latest spine education, evaluate cutting-edge research, and explore innovative technologies. Attendees will hear from key opinion leaders and world-renowned experts and join the conversations about the most pressing issues in spine. NASS 2024 offers a wide range of sessions designed to address varying professional needs and interests.

ABOUT THE SESSION

Private equity takeovers of medical practices and hospitals have the potential to be a positive development for all concerned. However, what is the reality? Do these agreements live up to their potential? Some studies have demonstrated these agreements can negatively impact patient outcomes and increase medical malpractice liability. However, some examples have demonstrated more efficiency and better financial returns. This session will explore the pros and cons of these agreements.
