Oliver Jury Receives Legal Aid’s 2025 Klepper Prize for Volunteer Excellence

Blank Rome is pleased to share that associate Oliver E. Jury will receive Legal Aid DC’s 2025 Klepper Prize for Volunteer Excellence for his dedication to pro bono work and significant impact on Legal Aid and its clients. Oliver will be recognized at this year’s Servant of Justice Awards Dinner, being held on April 29, 2025, in Washington, D.C.

“I’m grateful to Legal Aid for this honor and for the opportunity to be a part of their Pro Bono Program,” Oliver told Legal Aid. “Working with my Legal Aid mentors and clients has been a rewarding and formative experience for me and has made pro bono work a central piece of my career.”

The Klepper Prize recognizes an early-career attorney who has volunteered their time to make outstanding contributions to Legal Aid. Oliver has handled pro bono cases across practice areas, including housing and family law. He has also helped lead Blank Rome’s efforts in the Housing Right to Counsel Project, which provides legal representation to low-income D.C. residents on the brink of eviction. In addition to his pro bono efforts, Oliver has inspired several colleagues at the firm to volunteer with Legal Aid, resulting in many of them becoming regular volunteers.

At Blank Rome, Oliver represents clients in a wide range of government contracts and general litigation matters with experience managing complex claims and internal investigations. He has a particular focus on compliance and False Claims Act investigations for defense and energy contractors, handling whistleblower complaints, civil investigative demands, subcontractor disputes, and cost-allowability issues. He also handles high-value bid protests before the Government Accountability Office and U.S. Court of Federal Claims and contractor requests for equitable adjustment.
