Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Anthony Rapa, partner and co-chair of the firm’s International Trade group, has been appointed to the International Trade Council’s (“ITC”) Board of Directors for the 2025–2027 term.
The ITC is a globally respected organization dedicated to assisting businesses, governments, and trade organizations in navigating the complexities of international trade. For over six decades, the ITC has been a cornerstone in fostering global trade through networking, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. It actively promotes sustainable economic growth by encouraging cross-border trade and investment, educating companies regarding trade barriers, and facilitating international business opportunities across more than 179 countries.
In his role as a board member, Anthony will help steer the ITC’s mission of fostering global trade, supporting businesses, and championing transparency.

Anthony’s ITC Board of Directors Biography
Anthony Rapa is the co-chair of Blank Rome’s International Trade practice group and a dual U.S./UK-qualified attorney with extensive experience in economic sanctions, export controls, and foreign investment screening. He advises companies, private equity sponsors, and financial institutions across industries such as aerospace, defense, semiconductors, and technology on cross-border trade, compliance, and national security matters. Recognized as a leading practitioner by Lexology and Global Investigations Review, Anthony has conducted internal investigations, led compliance audits, and guided clients through complex CFIUS filings and export licensing processes. A graduate of Drew University and Seton Hall Law School, both summa cum laude, he actively engages in thought leadership, serving on the Board of Editors of The Global Trade Law Journal and contributing to prominent publications. Residing in Virginia, Anthony balances his professional achievements with his passions for Italian cooking, classic rock, and life on his farm.
