Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew M. Kaufman has joined the firm’s New York office as an associate in the Corporate Litigation group, which recently welcomed associate Victor J. Sandoval in Los Angeles. Andrew joins Blank Rome from Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
Andrew represents clients from various industries in a broad range of litigation matters in both state and federal courts across the country. His practice areas include products liability, consumer fraud, securities, financial services, commercial real estate, and bankruptcy litigation.
Andrew is involved in all stages of litigation, from inception to trial. He has extensive experience drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs, preparing fact and expert witnesses for deposition and trial testimony, managing discovery in complex litigation, and managing evidentiary issues in both jury and bench trials.
Admitted to practice in New York, Andrew received his J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from New York University School of Law and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Binghamton University. While in law school, Andrew served as a research assistant for Professor Arthur R. Miller, the author of the leading treatise on federal civil procedure, and as an article editor for the Annual Survey of American Law, a student-edited journal at the New York University School of Law.
