Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Gabrielle M. Gesek has joined the firm’s Philadelphia office as an associate in the Commercial Litigation group, which recently welcomed associate William M. Pekarsky in New York. Gabrielle joins Blank Rome from Armstrong Teasdale.
Gabrielle represents clients in complex commercial disputes, white-collar criminal defense, financial fraud, and government and internal investigations. She has notable experience assisting with internal investigations, government subpoenas, trial preparation, and all phases of litigation involving the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”), and breach of contract commercial disputes.
Gabrielle was recently recognized as “One to Watch” in commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense by The Best Lawyers in America and a “Rising Star” by Pennsylvania and New Jersey Super Lawyers.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Gabrielle received her J.D., cum laude, from The Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and her B.A. from Villanova University. During law school, she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable C. Darnell Jones II of the U.S. Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania, as well as an associate editor for the Drexel Law Review and the president of the Women’s Law Society.
