Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that James G. Gorman III has joined the firm’s Wilmington office in the Corporate Litigation practice group, which recently welcomed partner Barak A. Bassman.
James joins Blank Rome from Kleinbard LLC. He focuses his practice on commercial, corporate, and intellectual property litigation. James has notable experience in all aspects of litigation, ranging from pre-litigation counseling to the courtroom, and has represented clients in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
James regularly counsels clients on a variety of matters, including breach of contract, patent and trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, business torts, breach of fiduciary duty and corporate governance claims, shareholder disputes, and regulatory disputes.
Admitted to practice in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, James received his J.D. from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, and his B.S. from Georgetown University. James previously served as a judicial extern for Judge Sue L. Robinson at the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. During law school, James served as a comments editor for the Penn State Law Review.
