Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Kevin J. Bruno, a partner in the firm’s Environmental group, has been elected to serve on the American Bar Association (“ABA”) Section of Litigation’s Council.

As a member of Council, which is the board overseeing the activities of the Section, Kevin will focus on substantive and procedural developments in case law, proposed reforms and recommendations, and best practices for litigators. The Council's goal is to help members become more effective litigators, counselors, and leaders.

Kevin has held multiple leadership roles within the ABA. He has served as a division director and leadership development coordinator for the ABA Section of Litigation, as well as a liaison to the ABA’s Standing Committee on Environmental Law. Additionally, he co-chaired the Environmental & Energy Litigation Committee.

The Section of Litigation, one of the largest sections of the ABA, provides litigators of all practice areas the resources needed to become successful and experienced advocates. The Section is a legal publisher, a provider of CLE programming, a source of news and analysis, and a strong national voice in discussions concerning the legal profession.

At Blank Rome, Kevin’s practice includes environmental and mass tort litigation and compliance counseling to a broad spectrum of industries. Kevin has also spent his career representing policyholder clients in their pursuit of claims in multiple lines of insurance coverage and provides counseling to clients in their placement of a broad array of first party and liability insurance products.
