Biography
Alix Udelson represents and counsels employers in a variety of employment matters.
She has extensive experience helping clients navigate multistate issues and developments affecting the employment relationship. The breadth of her practice encompasses myriad state-specific issues extending to, for example, wage and hour, fair hiring, wage transparency / pay equity, leaves of absence, accommodations, earned sick and safe time, restrictive covenants, and workplace reductions.
She is constantly monitoring jurisdiction-specific changes to the employment law landscape. She routinely counsels clients nationally on how to achieve compliance with their ever-changing obligations in a manner that is tailored for maximum efficiency specific to each organization.
Alix has a robust counseling practice. She routinely devises and reviews employment guidelines, policies, and agreements for employers across the country. She also regularly works with human resources and in-house legal departments to address an array of workplace legal issues, including investigations into claims of workplace impropriety, leaves of absence, disciplinary actions, workplace safety, reductions in force, and wage and hour compliance.
Alix is also experienced in defending employers in state and federal court litigation and arbitration proceedings, and before administrative agencies, in a wide range of employment law claims.
Alix previously served as in-house counsel for a national restaurant brand where she advised and counseled stakeholders at all levels of the organization on myriad employment law matters. This in-house experience gives Alix a practical and business-minded perspective when advising employers.
