Biography
Brandy S. Ringer concentrates her practice on all aspects of litigation, including experience in product liability and tort litigation, aviation law and litigation, breach of contract and contractual litigation, internal investigations, and appellate litigation.
Brandy has experience in all facets of litigation, including drafting pleadings, facilitating pre-trial discovery, taking plaintiff and fact witness depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and participating in trial preparation, trial, and settlement negotiations. In her aviation practice, Brandy has represented various aviation manufacturers and suppliers with respect to flight-related accidents. She also has experience briefing appeals in the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, Superior Court, and Supreme Court; the Third Circuit; and the Ninth Circuit.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Brandy served as a litigation associate at a U.S. law firm based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She also previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Christine L. Donohue at both the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Pennsylvania Superior Court. As a judicial law clerk, Brandy worked on a wide array of matters and issues of first impression that came before the appellate courts, including complex civil actions, criminal matters, employment disputes, and family law issues. During law school, Brandy served as the lead executive editor of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Journal of Technology Law & Policy.
Outside the Firm
Brandy enjoys spending time with her family and friends; photography; playing volleyball; and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins.
Experience
- Assisted in the defense of aviation manufacturers in claims stemming from aviation accidents.
- Assisted with dismissals of product liability actions brought against automotive and vehicle equipment manufacturers.
- Member of a trial team in a cost-recovery action under CERCLA and the Texas Solid Waste Disposal Act.
