Biography
Ian Valocchi concentrates his practice on business litigation. He represents corporate and individual clients in a wide range of disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, including:
- Claims for breach of contract, fraud, and business torts
- Employment litigation, including claims alleging breach of restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets, and wrongful termination
- White collar defense and investigations
- Construction and real estate disputes
Ian also maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing low-income Philadelphia homeowners accused of negligently maintaining property in premises liability cases through Philadelphia VIP. He has also assisted on appellate litigation regarding gun violence issues in partnership with the Brady Center.
Ian previously served as a summer associate at Blank Rome, a judicial intern for the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as a legal intern for the Defender Association of Philadelphia.
During law school, Ian was a staff editor of the Temple Law Review. He also served as a teaching assistant and academic success counselor.
Prior to law school, Ian served for four years as a volunteer firefighter.

Ian enjoys playing golf and all things Philadelphia sports.
